Using Sidelyn

These terms govern your use of Sidelyn, provided by Bing Studios LLC. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Sidelyn.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use Sidelyn and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must agree on your behalf before you use the app.

Accounts

Use an account that belongs to you, keep your sign-in details secure, and don’t let other people use your account. You are responsible for the information you provide and the actions you take in the app. Contact us if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Acceptable use

Keep league names and display names respectful. Don’t use them to threaten or harass anyone, promote hatred, impersonate another person, or share someone else’s private information.

Don’t bypass account security, access data that isn’t yours, disrupt the service, or exploit bugs to see hidden picks or change picks after they lock. Use Sidelyn only for lawful, personal play with your league.

No gambling or prizes

Sidelyn is for bragging rights only. No money changes hands in the app, and Sidelyn does not collect entry fees, hold funds, or award cash or other prizes. Don’t use Sidelyn to organize gambling, paid contests, or prize pools.

Commissioner powers

A league’s commissioner can rename the league, reset its invite code, remove players, hand the role to another member, or delete the league. Deleting a league removes it and its game history for everyone and can’t be undone.

Commissioners can correct a game’s result for their league. A correction applies to every player and recalculates the week’s results and season standings. Commissioners cannot edit another player’s picks or see hidden picks before kickoff. Raise questions about league decisions with your commissioner; contact us about app errors or misuse.

Scores and schedules

Live scores, schedules, and standings may be delayed, unavailable, or corrected. A corrected result can change your points and rank. Save your picks before each game’s kickoff; reminders and live updates are not a guarantee that you will receive notice before picks lock.

The service and your rights

We’ll use reasonable care in providing Sidelyn, but we can’t promise uninterrupted access or error-free scores and schedules. Maintenance, connection problems, and interruptions to services we depend on can affect the app.

Nothing in these terms takes away consumer rights you have under applicable law. We do not exclude liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for other responsibilities the law does not allow us to exclude. If something goes wrong, contact us so we can investigate.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains what data Sidelyn collects, how it is used, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Leaving Sidelyn or losing access

You can stop using Sidelyn at any time. To delete your account and its data, follow the steps on our account-deletion page. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.

We may restrict or suspend access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, to protect people or the service, or when required by law. Where practical, we’ll explain the reason and give you a chance to address it. Immediate action may be needed for security or legal reasons. Contact us if you think a restriction was a mistake.

Changes

We may update these terms as Sidelyn or legal requirements change. We’ll publish updates on this page. For changes that materially affect your rights or use of the app, we’ll provide notice through the app or the email address on your account before they take effect, unless an urgent legal or security issue requires earlier action. We’ll ask for your agreement where required by law. Changes will not apply retroactively.
